Suzanne Dudek , FNP

Family Nurse Practitioner

After growing up in Roseburg and raising a family in Southern Douglas County, Suzanne attended Umpqua Community College and was awarded an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2012. She has earned valuable clinical experience as a Register Nurse with CHI Mercy Medical Center’s Progressive Care Unit, VA Home Telehealth, Community Cancer Center, and in-home care. Suzanne graduated from Oregon Health and Sciences University as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017.

As a Ford Opportunity Scholar, Suzanne credits her life and experiences in rural Oregon as her inspiration to become a primary care provider as a way of giving back to her community. “As a family nurse practitioner, my job is to partner with patients to formulate a plan of care that best meets their needs and interests. I find it rewarding to connect patients and their families with the knowledge, resources and tools they need to have quality of life and be independent and functional.”

Suzanne’s research interests include Gerontology, chronic illness, addictions and substance abuse, chronic pain, patient-centered care, evidence-based care, rural health, public health, and psychopharmacology.
