Dr. Hart earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Harding University in Arkansas. She went on to earn her Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Hart has worked in multiple healthcare settings, including Texas Children’s Hospital and the Dallas VA Medical Center, and is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Oregon. She re-located to Roseburg in September 2014 and is currently the lead Behavioral Health Consultant at SouthRiver. Dr. Hart has led a number of initiatives to advance the integration of behavioral health services in primary care, including participation in the National Council for Behavioral Health Tobacco and Cancer Control Community of Practice. Dr. Hart was the principal investigator on a project funded by the Oregon Health & Sciences University Community Partnership Program to improve access to nicotine dependence treatment in rural primary care. In her spare time, Dr. Hart loves being outdoors, exploring Oregon, and traveling home to visit friends and family in Arkansas.
